S.W.A.T.- Just My Opinion

If you like action adventure movies that you can watch with your teens, S.W.A.T. is my pick!  I really liked this movie starring Colin Farrell, Samuel L. Jackson, and LL. Cool J., Michelle Rodriguez, Jeremy Renner and Josh Charles.  While the entire film is well cast, Colin Farrell and Samuel Jackson are outstanding!

I love movies about covert operations, rescue missions, undercover police etc., especially when they are well done like this one.  While there is plenty of special police insight, guns and military-type action, this film does not have a great deal of the unnecessary scenes of blood and guts that some movies have.  In addition, the expletives are kept to a minimum for this type of movie and there is no nudity or sex.

The real center of attraction here is the quality story line, S.W.A.T. team action and great acting! The story centers around a S.W.A.T. team put together by Samuel L. Jackson and a drug king, who offers $100 million to anyone who will free him from the police.  Of course in this movie as in life, greed can make people do some bad things.  Luckily there are the good guys like Colin Farrell and Samuel Jackson to restore our faith in the value of integrity and show that the good guys will prevail!  

Enough said… I give this one a 8 1/2 out of 10!
