Young “Starlets” Shine Like Stars
At Hollywood-Themed Fairy Tale Tea
14th Annual Event to Benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

Fairy Tale Friends, one of more than 30 community Friends volunteer groups of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, held its 14th annual Fairy Tale Tea on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
All proceeds from the mother/daughter tea and fashion show benefited Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit pediatric health care systems.
The “Hollywood”- themed Tea, held annually offers a chance for all budding “celebrities” to walk the red carpet, “be prepped” in the make-up & hair studio, take a “screen test” and enjoy Hollywood–themed crafts.

Following the activities, the starlets and their “stage moms” enjoyed a social tea, a dance performance by Studio Atlanta Dance and a children’s fashion show presented by Kangaroo Pouch in Atlanta. Starlets & stage moms were encouraged to dress in their “Oscar-worthy”, “fairy tale” or Sunday best.

As a not-for-profit organization, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta relies on community support to provide high quality care to more than 215,000 sick and injured children a year. All proceeds from the Fairy Tale Tea will contribute to the Friends funding areas including the Children’s Transport team, the Friends Research Fund, portable ventilators, the Family Support team of the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service of Children’s, the Chaplaincy program and the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit®.
